Seller, on the market · Torridge
We live in rural North Devon, as close to nature as I could get but close to the South West coast path and beaches of Bude, Sandymouth, Northcott and Duck Pool. This is what drew us to the area. We are close enough to enjoy peace and quiet but close enough to visit the beaches daily. We live 3 miles from a village that has a great grocery shop, vets, pub, butcher and doctors, you can get an appointment without any problems. We have country lanes all around us to walk the dogs. The dairy farm close by isn't disruptive or causing us any issues, the farmer and his family are welcoming. It's typical Devon: bumpy roads, narrow lanes, wonderful views from our garden across the countryside and views of Dartmoor from our kitchen. Three miles away, towards the main road, is a farm shop that does home food, cakes and more.
Our holiday home, on the same plot of land, is named after our Jack Russell. It's a one-bed barn conversion, and we've made it exceptionally successful, we take dogs too.
We moved to North Devon looking for a different life. We always wanted to run our own holiday home and to be closer to the countryside. We stayed in many holiday homes in the past and just knew we could do things better. We have updated these properties and they are ready to move in and live. We are looking to be closer to the sea and to expand our business.
