The first photo is from when the boys moved into the house 20 years ago, and the one with the tree represents a happy place we call our family tree, where the children played and climbed it as children. Our house is a one of one architect designed premier guarantee build self build in 2005, a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom, detached house with a touch of character from the Victorian era. One careful owner and family. Slightly higher ceilings, deep skirting board and panelled doors, and stone window sills and character stone details. A beautiful family home that flows into each space. I self built and project managed this build myself, a one of one self build in 2005. I've raised my 3 wonderful sons but it's empty nest time now. They've all flown the nest and I'm embracing a new challenge of restoring a 1600 barn.
