I'm looking to rent a well-maintained one-bedroom flat with a spacious bedroom, in a quiet and safe residential area. As I'll be moving with my 5-year-old son, finding a peaceful home environment is very important to us. Ideally, the property wouldn't be located on a main road — we're looking for a home in a family-friendly neighbourhood with good local amenities, parks, and transport links. I'm hoping to find a property where we can stay for the next 2-3 years, as providing stability and continuity for my son is a priority. I'm a responsible tenant who values maintaining a property well and building a positive relationship with landlords. Otherwise, a two-bedroom flat with a maximum budget of £2,200 per calendar month for the same duration (2-3 years) would also work for us. I'm Portuguese and single, and I've been living in the UK since 2020 — I co-parent a lovely 5-year-old boy. I'm very responsible and well-educated; my focus is my son, and providing stability and security for him. My income is currently lower than it might be, as I put my career on hold and chose a full-time job that gives me the flexibility for school runs — but I've been renting for 3 years and have been a very responsible tenant throughout. I have a reference letter from my current landlady; she's selling, which is the reason for my move.

I like to have time to prepare a lovely table for breakfast for me and my son. We eat, watch some cartoons, run around, and make a plan for the day.

I play basketball in my free time, and I love reading. I enjoy all the free art galleries in London, and when I can, I go to hear the London Symphony Orchestra and other concerts in town. I also love the beach — I think my Portuguese blood helps with that one!

I'm a project manager at a charity, on a permanent contract since 2020, working in the field of education, human rights, and youth — I also work as a freelance consultant for European institutions.

Since I separated, my life has been very much focused on surviving — but I think the best thing about me is that I've been able to maintain my friendships since the age of 5. I have deep friendships that have been going for 35 years — honest, and truly there for each other.
