Our dream home is in Carbis Bay, St Ives or Lelant, walking distance to the beach (a 15-20 minute walk). The dream is to walk daily to a beach with the dog, and walk or hop on the train to St Ives/Lelant. Don't want to be in the middle of a lot of holiday lets, as we want to feel part of a community and get involved.

Detached if at all possible, or at least link-detached. No major work needed other than decorating/aesthetic changes. Preferably 3 beds (3rd bed used as wardrobe/dressing/storage room), though some 2 beds may work if rooms are large with ample storage. Love an open plan kitchen/living area, but not essential - don't really want cottage style or small rooms. Needs some outside space for cats and a dog, but doesn't need to be large given the proximity to the beach. Ideally the outside space gets some sun, but not essential, location and indoor space matter more, as we are budget restricted.
